2005-2009 Mustang Procharger Kits
If you're the lucky owner of a Mustang from model years 2005 to 2009, it may be easier than you think to add some more horses under the hood. Procharger makes two superchargers: the P1SC and the D1SC. There are two versions of the P1SC: the HO and the Stage II. All the intercooled Procharger systems use proven technology and exclusive design features that will reliably give you 50-85% legal gains in horsepower and torque with stock Mustangs running on unleaded gasoline.
The supercharger designs are made to eliminate the need for oil lines or punching a hole in the oil pan. The Procharger superchargers are self-contained and use high quality synthetic oil that is specifically made for high speed use. Because these superchargers are self-contained, they eliminate the risk of clogged supercharger oil lines, unintended oil drainage or engine oil leakage. Because of these design features, the Procharger supercharger kits for the 2005-2009 Mustang run cooler and consume less power than oil-fed superchargers.
The two P1SC superchargers and the D1SC supercharger differ somewhat. The simplest and easiest to install is the P1SC HO model, followed by the P1SC Stage II model, and then the D1SC. The D1SC gives the biggest horsepower boost, with the P1SC Stage II in second place, followed by the P1SC HO. Most people get what they need from the P1SC HO model, which is the easiest to install but gives the smallest power boost. Other differences are that the P1SC models give better power efficiency at a lower boost, while the D1SCs give better power efficiencies at a higher boost.
The Procharger systems have the industry's coolest charge air temperatures and biggest gains in power, and other brands of superchargers cannot match the Procharger systems' performance. Procharger's air to air intercooler systems give the Procharger systems a thermal advantage. The P1SC HO, the P1SC Stage II, and the D1SC kits come complete with fuel injectors and a Diablosport Predator handheld programmer included with the systems. Procharger also makes tuner kits without fuel injectors and handheld programmers for both the P1SC HO and Stage II models.
